Position: Administrator / Concerts Manager
Based in Dublin and and reporting to the CEO, the Administrator will be a core member of Crash Ensemble, providing administrative and executive support for Crash Ensemble’s concerts and activities.

Job Description:
Crash Ensemble seeks an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for the arts. Specific knowledge and qualification in music or a related field, though not essential, would be an advantage.
Key responsibilities:
General
- Work with the CEO and artistic staff to support general administration and co-ordination of concerts, commissions, recording, engagement and fringe activities.
- Office management, including filing, copying, organizing as well as general office communications: answering phones and emails.
- Contribute to the development of the organization.
Concert Management
Assisting in the production Crash Ensemble’s calendar of events
- Organising the logistics related to events, performers (e.g. travel and accommodation arrangements, instrument and music hire), organising rehearsal venue.
- Assist at rehearsals
- Perform front of house duties at events
PR and Marketing
- Work with the CEO in the delivery of PR/ marketing materials (newsletters, press releases, programmes etc) including editing and proofing
- Keep up to date -website, social media and other media platforms
- Marketing of events; listings, flyer distribution etc, managing guest lists, press liaison
- Representation of the ensemble at conferences and external events.
Finance
- Financial administration and recording; making payments, invoices, book-keeping, inputting data into TAS Books 2 accounts package and pulling reports.
- Preparation of accounts for end of year audit with appropriate supporting documentation
- Work within the fundraising/ sponsorship developments currently being undertaken by the organisation and assist in this process where appropriate.
- Assist with applications to the organisation’s main funding bodies (Arts Council of Ireland/ Dublin City Council, Culture Ireland) and EU funding grants
- Explore other potential sources of funding

Required computer skills:
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge or social media platforms (facebook, twitter, youtube, soundcloud, Vimeo, Flikr)
Desired computer skills:
- TAS Books 2 or other financial software package
Essential attributes:
- Fluency in English
- An aptitude for, and experience in project management and office admin.
- Reliable, proactive and highly organised, able to multi-task
- Positive with a “can do” attitude
- Deadline‐oriented, ability to work under pressure
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail

- BA or equivalent
- A passion for the arts
Desirable attributes:
- Excellent writing skills
- Knowledge of marketing, fundraising, PR and accounting

Terms:
Part‐time, with 6-month probation period.
Work will include some travel and unsocial hours including weekends and evenings during concert rehearsal and delivery periods.
