Crash Ensemble Internship

Crash runs a 2 season, part-time administrative internship that provides hands-on experience of arts administration and of the production management of contemporary classical music.

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn new skills and to observe and participate in the workings of a successful, internationally recognised music group. 

The internship is unpaid, though there will be a performance based bonus on completion of the term.

Duties include (but are not limited to): 

Research projects (tasks involving the recording industry,   international promotions, international taxes and visas for touring purposes)

Education workshop logistics and management  

Competitions and invitations management            

Production                   

Office documentation management         

Accounting data entry                                         

Online data and general website maintenance                

Library work (score and audio)                       

General office administration

The internship is part-time (2 days a week, between Mon-Fri), from Sept 2010 to June 2011 (with a decent break at Christmas!) Some flexibility with respect to hours will be requested at gig-times.

David Lang pre-concert Seminar hosted by TCD and Crash Ensemble.

In advance of the Crash Ensemble concert celebrating the musicof Lang and Andriessen, David Lang will give a seminar on his music,focusing on his Pulitzer Prize winning work "The Little Match GirlPassion". The seminar will start with an introduction by DonnachaDennehy.
