The annual Lime Tree Theatre and Belltable Bualadh Bos Children’s Festival features a host of amazing events, planned for all age groups and captures the imagination of young audiences with magical theatre, raucous book readings, chatty talks, interactive workshops, plus a host of other activities for the rest of the family too.

Students will participate in 2 workshop with Irish composer Andrew Hamilton and members of Crash Ensemble to experiment with new sounds, improvisations and creative ideas, based on Andrew’s 2023 Crash Ensemble commission Friendly Piece, which was recently released as a digital album.

‘FriendlyPiece’ alludes to hovering between things, to evade being pinned down. It explores friendliness and kindness giving you a “tiny bit of joy or even infuriating you.” Everything belongs.
