Now that our 'Stranger Folk' national tour has come to an end, we are taking stock of a phenomenally successful year and looking forward to an even better 2011!

2010 has been the most prolific year since Crash's beginnings in 1997, with tours to the UK and the United States with our good friend Iarla O'Lionaird; 'Free State V' a spectacular collection of Ireland's brightest and best new composers, as well as collaborations with the Dublin Dance Festival, the National Chamber Choir and the Irish Museum of Modern Art with 'Rothko Chapel' featuring world-class Beckett actors Barry McGovern and Owen Roe.

September 2010 saw the world premiere of Donnacha Dennehy's 'That the Night Come' (six songs set to Yeats' poetry) with multi-Grammy Award winning U.S. soprano Dawn Upshaw in September, which has been recorded on the Nonesuch label and is set for release in Spring 2011.

We look forward to seeing you all in Spring 2011 for our sixth 'Free State' showcase!
