Crash Ensemble in David Lang Festival of New Music

What?…Wow: David Lang’s Festival of Music 2015 will take place at National Concert Hall, over two days on 6th and 7th of March 2015.

Presented by New Music Dublin, the festival will feature a range of Irish and internationally renowned ensembles, curated by the Bang on a Can co-founder and Pulitzer prize-winning composer David Lang.

Crash Ensemble will perform as part of a 8-hour Marathon on Saturday 7th March, including a premiere by Linda Buckley, our 2011 commission 'music for people who like art' by Andrew Hamilton and Sean Clancy's 'Fourteen Minutes of Music on the Subject of Greeting Cards', which was performed at our 2014 Free State concert .

Members of Crash will also join Bang on a Can All-Stars and So Percussion for Steve Reich’s Music for 18 Musicians.
