Crash Ensemble present the Irish premiere of Philip Glass’s iconic Glassworks in full, for three nights only as part of Dublin's MusicTown festival. We are beyond excited to have this opportunity to perform the work of a living legend in the intimate surrounds of The Gallery at the Complex.

Written as a studio recording, Glassworks was released in 1982 as an LP and cassette on the CBS label, whose roster of artists includes Frank Sinatra and Bruce Springsteen. The LP and cassette had their own separate mixes, the LP for home listening and the cassette with a headphone specific mix and was Glass’s successful attempt to create a more pop-oriented ‘Walkman-suitable’ work.
